Donations Policy

Donations Policy for Meals on Wheels Fraser Community Inc (MoW FC)

Your donations –

Without the generosity of sponsors and other financial supporters, MoW FC could not meet the diverse needs of so many in our community. Donations to MoW FC translates to real help at every doorstep where this service extends a helping hand.

Donations are 100% tax deductible, and go directly to help clients continue living independently within our community.

MoW FC helps people who are recovering after hospitalisation, a major illness or surgery, people with a disability, carers, or people requiring assistance due to a special circumstance.

MoW FC offers “Much more than a meal”, by providing a regular visit to monitor the health and well-being of clients who may not see anyone else during the day. Our volunteers provide much needed social interaction and a link to the community so housebound clients are not so isolated.

Donations and bequests are a tangible way of ensuring continuing quality care for people with a wide variety of support needs, enabling them to reside for as long as possible where they are happiest – in their own home.

We ensure that all monies raised help us make a real difference to the local community by assisting our financially disadvantaged clients.

Meals on Wheels Fraser Community Inc is a recognised charity under the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission.

By donating to MoW FC you are supporting the nourishment, wellbeing, independence and connection of older Australians within our community.
