Volunteer
New volunteers (minimum age 18) are made very welcome and are always required due to holidays, extra demand or retirement.
You choose the type of work, number of hours and frequency and our Manager or Chef will suggest a day and time to suit us both. Come along and give it a try – you’ll be doing something enjoyable and very worthwhile for your community.
Volunteers help in all sorts of ways :
In the kitchen –
- cooking,
- meal or veg preparation,
- dishing up or packing meals,
- washing up,
- general cleaning.
Deliveries –
- drivers (must have vehicle, licence and comprehensive insurance),
- drivers’ assistant.
In the office –
- clerical,
- meal labels,
- filing.
Handyman –
- equipment,
- building,
- grounds.
Committee,
Fundraising,
Marketing.
