From Tuesday 10 April 2018 all meals for Maryborough clients are now prepared in our kitchen at Hervey Bay. This has resulted in major changes for both staff and volunteers in Maryborough – a new opportunity for the chef, David, and some volunteers who are now working in the Hervey Bay kitchen, plus the admin section in Maryborough has been restructured and Amy, who was the dessert cook, now has new responsibilities in line with the revised Food Safety Plan.
We have added a new vehicle to our fleet, an Isuzu ute with a refrigerated body, to daily transport the meals in a temperature controlled environment to Maryborough.
Pictured below are the team of Hervey Bay volunteers who will share the important task of ensuring that the meals are delivered on time.
